Gender initiative “Ruzha”

Description: In 2016 we tried to register our organization but fail. In 2017 we organized awareness campaign for better conditions for pregnant women in regional maternity which had a good impact on medical staff and changed somewhat situation in general.

Aims and objectives: Prevention and elimination of disrespectful and cruel treatment of women at all stages of labor in medical institutions, protection of their rights to life, health, physical integrity and freedom from discrimination. 

Main activities: Awareness campaign, educational seminars and roundtables, monitoring of conditions of childbirth and maternity.
