Description:
The National Coalition “Life without violence” was formed in 2015 by dedicated civil society organizations and public institutions, service providers for victims of gender-based violence. The mission of the Coalition is to reduce violence against women and children and foster a gender sensitive society where violence is not tolerated. The Coalition acts in line with three strategic directions provided for in its Strategic plan.
Aims and objectives:
The Coalition’s Mission is to reduce gender-based violence and to contribute to building up a society sensitive to violence.
Main activities:
The all 22 members (15 non-governmental organizations and 7 public institutions) develop services and render support to women and children, victims of gender-based and domestic violence, provide counselling, primary and specialized legal assistance, immediate and long term psychological assistance, shelter, social and economic rehabilitation, as well as programs for perpetrators.
