Description: Vinnitsa Non Governmental Organization “Informational and educational center “Vis” is a voluntary non-profit public association which promotes the protection of rights and the guaranteeing of equal rights and opportunities for people in all spheres of public life. It was founded in 2010.
NGO “Vis” has a membership in the Coalition Against Discrimination in Ukraine.
Aims and objectives: Protecting the rights and ensuring equal rights and opportunities of people in all spheres of public life.
Main activities:
- Promoting gender equality in all spheres of public life and supporting women's leadership;
- Supporting civil society organizations;
- Training and promoting the implementation to practices of gender approach and the promotion of human rights in the activities of civil society organizations;
- Informational and educational activities in the field of human rights and anti-discrimination;
- Development of volunteering, raising the recognition level of the volunteer movement;
- Promoting awareness of domestic violence and violence against women among various target groups;
- Identifying the facts of discrimination and promoting effective protection of individuals and / or groups of people who have suffered from discrimination;
- Assistance in finding employment and entrepreneurial activities of people in difficult living conditions.
