The women's movement of Mogilev unites professional women of Mogilev public associations engaged in gender, economic, and cultural awareness programs through the club form of activity and creativity. We have collected a substantial database of experts of Mogilev region in a number of different fields (economics, medicine, education, pharmacy, business, migration, politics, media, history & culture, law).

Aims and objectives: 

NGO “Praleska” aim is to raise leadership of women potential, enlarge women’s  influence on their fate and become active in the society through education and post-training support.

Main activities:

• Gender education through Women Club – a community of socially active women of Mogilev, who discuss the gender issues in different spheres of our life, attract attention to the necessity of gender equality and share their experiences. The experts arrange the seminars/trainings in women leadership and gender policies in professional, family, public and civil aspects.   
• Women and business.
• Cultural events for development and promotion of the Belarusian national values. 

The most significant achievements: 

• We have arranged Consulting Service on women entrepreneurship. It has been working non-stop since 2014. More than 60 women have sought professional advice.
• We have released 4 editions: “The guide: how to start own business for women,” “Textbook: how to work with the target group effectively”, “Effective employment: CV, interview, presentations”, “The prevention of trafficking”. One of the books is published on the website of Mogilev Region Council.
• We have been implementing Women Leadership Club in Mogilev since 2014. We have created three more Women Leadership Clubs in three cities of Mogilev Region (Shklov, Bobruisk, Gorki), 35 meeting have been conducted during this period. About 45 women, who were not engaged into public activities, have been attracted to Mogilev Leadership Club. It is working constantly. 
• We have 3 experts within the organization: a consultant on organizational development, trainer on trafficking and employment and a pharmacist.
• We have involved 5 experts-professionals into the activities on the constant basis of cooperation: a lawyer, a doctor, an entrepreneur-economist, a psychologist and a marketing and PR specialist.
• We invented the idea, arranged and conducted the City Debates for all Parliamentary candidates of the central constituency of Mogilev. It assembled nearly 60 citizens.
